Several of our Academic Team members competed on Saturday, February 20th, in the Lexington area MathCounts competition. Some competed as individuals, but four were on the WJMS team.Our team, consisting of Noah Dixon, Bradley Phelps, Jonathan Dean, and Jonah Dixon, finished in 4th place out of the 20 participating school teams. They missed going to the state competition by one spot! Bradley Phelps and Jonathan Dean finished 28th and 35th, respectively, earning them spots in the top 25% of the approximate 150 students in the competition. Noah Dixon finished in the top 5%, at 8th place, and earned a trip to the state competition later this month.
